Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Mill Telecom Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of network equipment and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
