Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Madison, WI)

Harborlight Forge Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Madison focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Madison. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
