Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Summit Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Louisville and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification.
