Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Louisville, KY)

Bluepeak Lantern Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Louisville area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
