Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge Cedar Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Knoxville. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
