Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Jacksonville, FL)

Clearpath Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Jacksonville, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
