Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Cedar Vista Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
