Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Rowan Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of network equipment and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
