Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Indianapolis, IN)

Summit Kestrel Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Indianapolis area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
