Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Houston, TX)

Rivermark Nest Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Houston, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of loan applications and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
