Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Houston, TX)

Nova Bridge Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Houston focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of service installations and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
