Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Sable Financial Group is a financial-services company in Houston, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of account servicing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
