Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Harborlight Union Civic Services supports public agencies in Honolulu with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 553 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
