Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Ironwood Birch Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 483 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification.
