Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quarry Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
