Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Northwind Rowan Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
