Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Yarrow Legal Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Model the cost of court deadlines and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
