Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Forge Energy is an energy provider in Hartford focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
