Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Orchard Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
