Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Fresno, CA)

Bright Mill Civic Services works with county and city offices around Fresno. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
