Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Fresno, CA)

Cedar Foods produces packaged foods at its Fresno plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
