Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Fort Worth, TX)

Northwind Timber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Fort Worth, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
