Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lakeside Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
