Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (El Paso, TX)

Fernwood Timber Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from El Paso. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
