Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Mill Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
