Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Mill Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 140 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
