Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Nest Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
