Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Stone Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Des Moines focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 276 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of service installations and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
