Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Birch Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
