Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Haven Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Des Moines. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 572 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Model the cost of online orders and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
