Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Harborlight Vista Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Dallas, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
