Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quarry Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
