Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Stone Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
