Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Columbus, OH)

Silverline West Energy is an energy provider in Columbus focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 88 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
