Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Harborlight Pine Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
