Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Forge Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 135 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
