Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Cincinnati, OH)

Bright Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Cincinnati focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
