Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Harbor Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
