Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Summit Birch Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 701 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
