Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Yarrow Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
