Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Lantern Markets and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
