Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Bright Financial is a financial-services company in Chicago, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
