Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charlotte, NC)

Foxglove Thistle Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Charlotte. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
