Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charlotte, NC)

Redstone Rowan Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Charlotte, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
