Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Lumen Vista Water Authority Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
