Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Bright Wren Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
