Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Forge Transit Planning Associates is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
