Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Charleston, SC)

Nova Amber Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Charleston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
