Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Beacon Financial Group serves customers across Buffalo with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
