Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Sable Markets Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
